I need your assistance at making this page beneficial. I have not heard any feed back until recently, so I didn't know if anyone was even looking here. I now know that it is being used. Therefore, please assist me by sending as much information as possible for those in need of our thoughts & prayers. Name(s), address, email, phone & Club(s) they belong to. One concern I have had is how much detail should be included regarding sensitive details. I appreciate receiving the detail for our personal information. Ken Tucker - Village Squares

I just received the information for the calling hours and service for Ken Tucker who was a long time member of the square dance world as members of Village Squares. They are as follows:

1/4/10 Chuck had a triple by pass Dec 30. Let's send lots of get well cards.

1/16/10 The bad news – Lynn is back at Strong……..when we went to Clinic on Thursday his bloodwork was not good – severe anemia…

They had to keep him to give him blood transfusions. They say it should just be a short stay!!!

1/12/10 Lynn seems to be doing a little better now. We keep busy with appointments – we are just off to the eye doctor – we’ve had to cancel several times, so I’m glad we can finally get there today. Tomorrow we are off to Rochester – he has appointments Wed & Thurs, so we’ll stay in the hotel tomorrow night – we are hoping we can even get to Red Lobster for a treat…. Things are definitely looking up, so we hope 2010 will be a better year.

12/31/09 Lynn is back at Strong – went in Monday – we had gone to Rochester for Clinic and they said he needed to be admitted. His left hand is all swollen and very painful – maybe Cellulitus, but another doctor thinks it might be another blood clot (he seems to get them easily) – they did an MRI yesterday – results maybe today. Still has continuing Urinary problems, plus still fighting off infections!!

We did have a good Christmas with Suzie and her family, plus a family gathering on Saturday, so at least Lynn was home for those festivities and he wasn’t feeling too bad – had had a few falls though – it just seems to be one challenge after another!!!!!

I was home yesterday as I needed to catch up on things around the house, but I head back to Rochester this afternoon and will stay in the hotel 3 or 4 nights……..

11/6/09 Thanks for forwarding the info – unfortunately things did not happen as planned – seems like they never do these days!!!

It gets very complicated but: in order to do the surgery he needs a ‘central IV’ – they are having a hard time finding a place to put it as he has so many blood clots…….. they were supposed to put it in today, but his Coumadin level was not good – so – No IV, no surgery!!! Its just one thing after another and poor Lynn was really down today. We are hoping it can happen on Monday……….

It is Lynn’s birthday next Friday (13^th) and I really hope they can get things done so he can be home for it – we’ll see…..

I came home this evening so that I could do the finances for our church bazaar tomorrow. I do have another couple who are my back up guys, but I do enjoy the bazaar so wanted to be here for it. Lynn understands and wanted me to come home - I’ll head back to Rochester on Sunday – and hopefully stay till I can bring him home…….

11/5/09 Just talked to Linda. Lynn is still in Strong Hospital in Rochester. She is on her way up there as Lynn will have prostate surgery Friday morning. Prayers and cards are needed and would be appreciated. The address at Strong is 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester 14642.
